I am afraid, Crankies, that the use of Google has been determined to cause cruelty to animals and small children; it’s even been known to oppress women and minority groups. Using this engine, and selecting a charity of your choice (be sure to do so every single time you log on to the internet, it doesn’t remember it once you’ve closed your browser) will donate one cent for every single search you make. In two days I’ve already managed to raise nearly a dollar for a local charity: Habitat for Humanity (at least the branch near me). The search engine itself runs on Yahoo!, so it isn’t a piece of junk. I would suggest switching over your home PC, and getting your friends, family, and the place where you work or go to school to start opting for this search-site (be sure to threaten them with Hellfire and back to back episodes of Maury Povich).
