Treatise on the Issue of Corruption and Societal Entropy.

The Evil can be categorized into two distinct classes: The evil lazy and the evil ambitious. No matter how grand a social structure nor how pure its foundations the evil ambitious flock to the corridors of power and wealth while the evil lazy suck resources from society. Over time they grow in both power and numbers as they influence society and turn the formerly good or neutral to their wicked ways. This will be described in detail later on. Suffice it to say that they manage to, and have, and will. Overcoming this fundamental law is a society’s greatest challenge.

:In Capitalist Democracies such as the early U.S.A. they attempted to solve corruption and evil by initiating an economic system that was supposed to reward the had working while punishing the lazy. The political system was to mitigate the effect of ambitious evil by reducing the size and scope of the governmental institutions, setting up a competitive system of checks and balances, and making empowered individuals subject to public scrutiny and approval.

:In Socialist Democracies such as the contemporary U.S.A. and Western Europe a series of reforms and revolutions occurred due to the C-D system’s failures. It became apparent that most hardworking individuals were not rewarded while the rich were largely populated by inherited, and therefor unearned wealth. Not only that, but due to the nature of wealth the rich had the best access to power or could best influence the politically powerful. This skewed government in favor of the rich( the idle) and political office towards the corrupt ( who then greatly profited from their station and corruption).
The system the S-Ds created was dominated by a very large central government (with the same or greater checks and balances) and a unionized and subjugated economic system filled with programs moderating the negative social and environmental problems it caused (welfare, environmental regulation, central banks, affirmative action…etc..).

:Still more revolutionary was what took place in the most backward and oppressive nations: Russia, China, Cuba, Vietnam…etc. Communist revolutionaries took hold and instituted Totalitarian Socialist economic and political systems (effectively merging the two sectors). They attempted to end economic evil by equalizing all workers, centralizing production, forcing all who were capable to work, and completely disbanded the economic power of the individual owner. Thus, there was no place for laziness nor could there be idle or powerful rich. To lead them they elected representatives to the Supreme Soviet and local collectives, though the politicians had to come from within the Communist Party. Without checks and balance, however, the leadership became corrupt, despotic, and incompetent.
There is no indication, however, that workers were more lazy due to the lack of incentives; rather, poor leadership is all that can account for the inadequate and inferior economy of the late Soviet era. Soviet experiments showed that collective ownership in conjunction with true worker control yielded fantastic results.

Rooting Out Evil

The only way one can attack evil is if one can first see it, then speak to and rally others against it, and obtain the material resources needed to do end or restrict it.

See No Evil: In small towns and other tight-knit societies and cultural groups nothing goes unnoticed, open secrets abound and people and their ways are well known to insiders. These are societies with very few nooks and crannies, though there will be the odd shocking occurrence. In complex and large societies nooks and crannies are abundant and in these neglected and hidden areas evil spawns.

The best methods in curing or greatly reducing this effect is leaving no space un-used, save private-personal spaces. No building should be vacant; no alley un-blocked, uncovered, or un-populated/watched; and no street un-lit or un-policed. All neighborhoods should be integrated, their residents social, regular neighborhood-wide meetings held, and no citizen without an official job, in school, or unoccupied by school or social/ private productive activity. (Social: Swimming pools, Parks, Gyms. Private: Reading, Video Games, Art, Internet, Television.).
No individual should be without social support of some kind.

All illicit drugs and alcohol should be: Illegal to sell (Criminal) and a disorder to use/ own for recreational purposes (non-criminal but offenders should be forced into rehabilitation).

Or: Regulated heavily and/or distributed by the state or a state regulated monopoly.

Prostitution and exotic dancing must be: Illegal (with prostitutes and dancers non-criminal rehabilitation candidates).

Or: Regulated by the state, or run the state/ state regulated monopoly.

Racial, Economic, Religious, and gender segregation (either de facto or de jure) must end. Total integration, physically, of all major socio-economic classes and cultures must occur.
