All the best television shows get cancelled before their potential prime… and possibly crazy movie/collaborations get dropped and never created. Well you can add another to that list. Take a look at this recently released short pilot for a TV show that didn’t make it: PigGoatBananaMantis! The piece was created by artists Dave Cooper and Johnny Ryan and animated by Nick Cross. The three are always creating very interesting work.
Really leaves you scratching your head why network execs would turn this away. Nice weird animation style, goofy and gritty. PigGoatBananaMantis! should be a full series! Gravity pickles hyjinks!? Come on… you love it.
